Reduce Your High Blood Pressure Naturally

Unique Techniques to Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally

Heart shape held in the hands - blood pressure Let me show you how to reduce your blood pressure naturally and safely, without the use of medication.

This page is really for anyone who has been diagnosed with high blood pressure by their nurse, doctor, and been told they need to do something about it. Around 15% of the population of the UK have high blood pressure, or 'hypertension'. Of course, the 'high' in high blood pressure covers a rather wide spectrum, and there are several degrees if highness.

Certain factors will determine how likely you are to develop high blood pressure. For example, there is a hereditary aspect, which you can thank your parents for. Your diet, especially the quantities of salt, fat and alcohol, will have an influence over time. Your ethnic background. Whether you have, or are in a risk category, for diabetes. Whether you are currently overweight, and overweight doesn't only apply to anyone obese. And, finally, whether you are a couch potato and have little or no exercise.

If you don't know your blood pressure, get your doctor, practice nurse or health centre to measure yours. If it's high, they will want to monitor you, perhaps monthly, to see if there are any natural fluctuations, or they may feel it is wise to prescribe some type of medication to help you control it. Alternatively, buy your own monitor and check it yourself, either one of those wrist machines, or a proper arm blood pressure monitor with a cuff and all the works.

I have a super-duper one that even plugs into the computer afterwards and gives me printouts of all my previous readings, which is useful in monitoring blood pressure over time, and was also useful in helping me refine and perfect this treatment plan, but you don't need to go that far to have some useful data to bring to your treatment session here at The Haven Healing Centre, just write down your monitor readings/dates and bring them with you. The first thing to remember about traditional medical treatments for hypertension is that none of them are intended to address the root cause of your high blood pressure. They may be very good at bringing down your blood pressure in the short term, but the medical treatments recommended by your doctor or other medical practitioner are designed to control your high blood pressure symptoms only.

Besides the causes mentioned previously which can elevate your blood pressure, with or without your consent, it's not helpful to raise them further by including the influence of high anxiety, worry, stress or argumentative conversation.

For many people worry and stress are a mighty contributor to their high blood pressure. Despite knowing this for a fact, they also feel that the thing causing them worry and stress is out of their control, and so feel there's nothing they can do about it. That is always wrong!! Taking control of the cause of the problem, quite often means that other aspects, like being overweight, and not enjoying exercise, uncovers a reduction in the reluctance for change and also acquires a new impetus too change.

How do I know if my blood pressure is high?
A reading of 120/80 mmHg = Normal
A reading of 120-139/80-89 mmHg = Pre-hypertension
A reading of 140-159/90-99 mmHg = Stage 1 Hypertension
A reading of 160/100 mmHg + = Stage 2 Hypertension
This is all a bit general here and doesn't take into account your age, or lifestyle, nor the cause. The cause may be 'primary', also called 'essential hypertension', which means your doctor or health care team are not able to locate a single cause which explains your elevated blood pressure. Or, 'secondary hypertension', the classification coming from a clearly identifiable cause such as, kidney disease, pregnancy, tumours, cancer, contraceptives, or side effects from any medication.

The Haven treatment program focuses on your situation as it stands at the moment, what your pressure reading is and what might be contributing to it. It is important to maintain your medication as it is at the moment, as you shouldn't take it upon yourself to change it, without your doctors permission. Omron Blood Pressure Monitor for Measuring Hypertension However, as there is only so much medication can do, many people find their blood pressure remains stubbornly high, despite the medication they are taking.

Remember, this is because there may be a cause that is creating the high blood pressure, that is not fixable by taking tablets. Maybe there is another cause, perhaps emotional, or physical, that tablets just can't or are not designed to get a handle on. This is why, when you participate in this treatment program, your blood pressure will drop right in front of your eyes. From one reading to the next, down and down it will go.

Just recently, a young pregnant lady, with a blood pressure of 200/150, even when on her medication, and in danger of being induced because of it, tried the program. On her first visit, we got her blood pressure down to 120/83 in a little less than an hour, after working on her emotional worries and stresses.

This could easily do the same for you, and even more so if your blood pressure is not that high in the first place. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying this out and learning what you have to do to make your blood pressure drop to a more acceptable level. SAFEGUARD YOUR HEALTH FOR THE YEARS AHEAD. Make it a priority to do this now!

I always suggest that you consult with your GP before proceeding just in case they have a good reason for you not to proceed. But normally, there is no reason for you not to continue and most enlightened doctors will be happy that you are looking for ways to help yourself.

One to three sessions is all it will take. Please feel free to bring your own blood pressure monitor, but if you don't have one, you can use mine. This way, you will be able to see instant results as they occur in real time. If this idea resonates with you, I invite you to visit The Haven Healing Centre in Cheddar for a private consultation. Appointments and a treatment price list are available by clicking here. I look forward to welcoming you soon. Phil.
