The Haven MassageMassage for Men by a Male MasseurThe reason I'm promoting massages for men is because it seems that more and more men are finding it very difficult to get a good quality massage that doesn't go past the knee. They are made to feel there is something wrong with wanting a proper massage and their motives are questionable. As a consequence, many are put off. This is made worse by massage schools that are dreaming up ever more elaborate ways to warn new lady recruits of improper requests and not to expose any part of the body because that may be seen as inappropriate. It's like HSE gone mad.Now I'm getting blokes at the door who are sick of being made to feel like they are doing something wrong, when all they want is a good old fashioned, proper massage, without the political claptrap that goes with it. Well you've found the right place! More and more men are coming to The Haven Healing Centre because they know I will give them a super massage, with plenty of power and without worrying about someone else questioning their motives. There is no reason whatsoever why something so pleasurable has to be so complicated. Massage for Women by a Male MasseurFor ladies it's a slightly different problem. Will my husband be happy for me to have a massage from a man? Of course, some will see it as a threat to their manhood and not like the idea at all, others will come with their partners and be 'done' together. By that I mean one after the other, not side by side. Most understand this is my profession and that I am a professional, and so are more than happy.One thing has become very evident in recent years. Ladies who come for massages, never seem to want to go elsewhere afterwards, unless it is to another male masseur. And frankly, I can understand why. I've been to plush hotels and spa's, that boast the bestest and greatest massages ever, all over the UK, only to find when I arrive the massage therapist is barely old enough to serve drinks in a bar, let alone have more than a couple of months in a massage school, and to top it off, she has long nails, sticks for fingers and an expression that says, 'come on, let's get this over with'. Being male, admittedly slightly overweight, but one who lays into a 5ft punching bag that hangs in my gym, every day, and with a 10.5" hand span, I think I may have a slight advantage when it comes to the strength of stroke and area covered. In fact, I've been called 'banana man' before now, because my fingers hang down like a bunch of bananas. I guess that's part of the appeal. You at least know you're going to get your money's worth.
